Via this opportunity, you can have a significant impact in one of our most critical business domains, in a role where you’ll develop engineers, guide careers, organize projects, be accountable for technical delivery, and empower the distributed team of engineers.

The Engineering Manager will report to the VP Engineering and will manage a team of engineers with different seniority level and spread in different locations in Belgium and Europe.

The engineering Manager is first, and foremost, a people manager (a talented and diverse group of engineers) that provides feedbacks, listens to engineers, sets their goals, and provides them with challenging work that drives values for our users and business.

You are a great team builder, a good recruiter, a great communicator, and a real issue resolver. You’re empathic, like to develop people and the team through coaching, mentoring, management support, and conduct regular 1:1's.

You can be hands-on and lead by example.

You contribute together with the Principal Engineers and the VP Engineering for establishing the best in class engineering process. You also contribute to the product and technical roadmap of our platform in collaboration with engineering and product leaders.

You focus on continuous organizational improvement and are a great change manager.

You identify and remove roadblocks for your team

You create a thriving and fun atmosphere within the engineers where you’ll have direct reports ranging from junior-level to highly experienced engineers. You’ll be responsible for their performance and career growth.

You ensure good communication and knowledge sharing across the entire engineering organization as well as outside your organization.

Together with the VP Engineering and the Principal Engineers, you manage transversal engineering projects.
