R&D Data Engineer

Responsibilities

  • As Data Engineer, you create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
  • You assemble large, complex datasets that meet business requirements
  • You build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources
  • You analyse available data with advanced data processing and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • As a member of the R&D team, you work in close collaboration with our machine learning engineers and statisticians

Requirements

Main Qualifications

  • Master degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent
  • Good programming skills in Python
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Operational knowledge of Linux
  • Fluent in English

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Spotfire, or other
  • Experience with Big Data tools: Hadoop, Spark or other
  • Experience with NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Cloud Computing platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS
