Software Acceptance & Quality Coordinator

Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium

We are a young and fast-growing start-up.  In order to boost our staff of about currently 30 people, we are looking for a Software Acceptance and Quality Coordinator  to join our operational team located at our Belgian Headquarters adjacent to Louvain-la-Neuve.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the product owners, software engineers and quality assurance  coordinator, to establish test criteria, document test cases and procedures, execute testing and generate test reports
  • Creates detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases then coordinates testing activities.
  • Ensure quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked and resolved
  • Maintain our software specifications
  • Coordinate and lead our nearshore testing team
  • Responsible for all QA and UAT documentation related to our production release

Skills Required

  • Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or User Acceptance Testing role
  • Hands-on knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle principles and Quality Assurance methodologies/best practices
  • Experience in the design of detailed functional and regression test plans, and the creation and execution of test scripts
  • Strong time management skills, with an ability to multi-task & handle multiple test assignments & prioritize one’s own work
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills – able to present status, facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise, convincing and organized manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability – able to quickly and smoothly change direction based upon stakeholder or management direction, while remaining extremely organized and following tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, or related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience is a plus
  • Eager to Learn and Improve
