Project Manager - Release Projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

 CluePoints is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to support the software release process. As a Project Manager, you will be leading process improvement projects, and support the Product Owners and the Release Management. You will also be responsible for software release projects, i.e. communicating & coordinating between cross-functional teams and operational aspects of the release process, including day-to-day status follow-up, until release validation. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, experience in software project management, and excellent communication skill. Your overall responsibilities will be:

 

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of process improvement projects within the software development team
  • Work closely together with Product Owners, Product Managers and other stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop new processes to optimize software development workflows
  • Manage and facilitate the release projects, ensuring successful delivery of software products and features 
  • Support the beta release process, including coordinating with cross-functional teams and collecting feedback from beta users
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders and leadership 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team and across the organization

 

SKILLS NEEDED

  • Experience in software development, and/or experience in project management, with a focus on software development process improvements
  • Knowledge of agile processes, change management
  • Assertive with the ability to take ownership of the job and to work autonomously
  • Translate technical details into status summary for communication use
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
  • Open-minded, team player
  • Strong analytical and problem solving-skills, attention to detail, ability to think out of the box
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or LeSS certification is a plus 
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kaban

Functional Analyst

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Product Manager for discovery by reviewing, spotting gray areas, and requesting or adding details where needed,
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to gather and review detailed Business and User Requirements,
  • Translate Requirements into comprehensive Functional Specifications,
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize development and allow planning of development iterations,
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and technical team to ensure alignment of technical solutions with Functional Specifications,
  • Review Test Cases ensuring coverage of Functional Specifications according to expectations,
  • Ensure traceability between Requirements and Functional Specifications, between Functional Specifications and Stories and between Functional Specifications and Test Cases,
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of CluePoints’ internal processes and guidelines regarding Requirements, Functional Specifications and Test Cases documentation,
  • Participate both in the design of new products and design and documentation update of live products.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master degree (Business or IT) or equivalent through experience in a related function,
  • Experience (3+ years) as functional and/or business analyst working on software projects,
  • Preferred experience with SaaS in a B2B heavily regulated environment (telco, banking, pharma),
  • Good appreciation for the SDLC and different development methodologies (Agile/Scrum, waterfall, etc.),
  • General technology affinity. Able to discuss with technology in a constructive way with technical and non-technical teams,
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written & spoken),
  • Ability to be flexible and work autonomously in a fast moving and ever changing environment,
  • Ability to think 'Out of the box' keeping UX and the Customer mind at all times,
  • Pro-active attitude, Open-minded, team player with strong attention to detail.
